LITecS proudly participated in the 23rd edition of Chocalhos – Festival of Transhumance Paths, held in Alpedrinha from September 13 to 15, 2024. This annual celebration of pastoral heritage and traditions provided a unique opportunity to showcase how innovation and agriculture can work together to support sustainability and technological advancement.

At our tent, we engaged with the local community by sharing insights on sustainable agricultural practices, demonstrating innovative technologies such as robotic soft grippers for fruit manipulation and our monitoring station for precision farming, and discussing how technology can help preserve traditional practices while enhancing efficiency and sustainability.

Participating in Chocalhos 2024 reinforced the importance of bridging ancestral knowledge with modern innovation, showing how advancements in robotics and agricultural technology can support rural communities. Events like this highlight the need to respect traditions while embracing a more sustainable future.

We are grateful to everyone who visited us and took part in these important conversations. Sharing our vision for the future of agriculture was an inspiring experience!
