LITecS had the privilege of participating in World FIRA 2025, the leading global event for agricultural robotics, held in Toulouse, France, from February 4-6, 2025. This prestigious forum brought together industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to discuss and showcase the latest advancements in agricultural automation and robotics.

At our stand, we presented two of our flagship projects: Montanha Viva, featuring our monitoring system and interactive dashboard designed to support biodiversity conservation and sustainable tourism, and ROBOTA-SUDOE, where we introduced our latest developments in soft grippers and an AI-powered vision system capable of identifying defects in fruit.

As part of the event, Professor Pedro Dinis Gaspar, our coordinator, delivered a presentation highlighting key advancements and results from both Montanha Viva and ROBOTA-SUDOE. His talk focused on how these cutting-edge technologies are shaping the future of sustainable agriculture and soft robotics, demonstrating their practical applications in real-world scenarios.

FIRA 2025 provided an incredible platform to exchange ideas, connect with industry experts, and explore new collaborations that will drive innovation in agricultural robotics. We are proud to have been part of this inspiring event, reinforcing our commitment to technological advancements and sustainability in the field!
