LITecS was proudly represented at the Balanço da Campanha das Prunoideas 2024 on November 28, 2024, where Professor Pedro Dinis Gaspar, Chief of the LITecS Laboratory, highlighted our contributions to sustainability and innovation in agriculture.

During the event, two key projects were presented, demonstrating the role of technology in advancing sustainability in the Prunoideas sector. The Montanha Viva project showcased its impact on biodiversity conservation, sustainable tourism, and intelligent decision-making for mountain plant exploitation, while the ROBOTA-SUDOE project explored collaborative robotics and the development of innovative soft robotic grippers designed for the food industry.

This gathering provided an important platform to share LITecS’ research and discuss the transformative potential of technology in ensuring a more efficient, sustainable, and resilient agricultural sector.
