The S4agro 2023 International Congress, in Castelo Branco, highlights the importance of the link between academia and the business sector. With 170 participants and 40 speakers, the event aims to discuss innovations in packaging, food waste, the circular economy and cybersecurity applied to the agro-industry.
The “PAM4WELLNESS” project aims to develop and enhance the aromatic and medicinal plants sector.
Objectives: To develop a decision-support system aimed at intelligent and real-time operationality in the economic exploitation of mountain plants, especially in remote locations (without communications), with the goal of stimulating the economic use of existing plants, increasing production, reducing the consumption of natural resources, contributing to the promotion of biodiversity and the preservation of environmental sustainability, particularly of wild mountain plants.
