Objectives: Development of a portable fruit thinning device that enables faster and more cost-effective fruit thinning compared to manual methods, while being better adapted to the local conditions of regions with similar topography and cultivation dimensions as the Beira Interior. This includes a focus on versatility to accommodate the heterogeneity of plants resulting from variations in plots and soil characteristics.
Objectives: (1) Improve energy efficiency in industrial units using refrigeration through the following steps: (2) Survey and characterization of agro-industrial companies in the region employing refrigeration systems; (3) Energy assessment of these companies; (4) Establishment of a methodology for characterizing energy efficiency based on algorithms; (5) Development of solutions to promote the enhancement of their energy efficiency.
Objectives: (1) Convey professional knowledge with technical training in the Agro-Industrial sector; (2) Specialize and update professionals in companies related to the Agro-Industrial sector; (3) Empower professionals in the Agro-Industrial sector, promoting analytical skills and specialized insights; (4) Address individual and business needs with vocational courses aligned with the job market; (5) Utilize new technologies to provide distance learning through e-learning and b-learning modes.
