LITecS had the honor of representing the University of Beira Interior at Feira de São Tiago, an annual event that celebrates the cultural, technological, and innovative spirit of the region. This event provided a unique opportunity to engage with the community and showcase some of our most exciting projects.
One of the highlights was a robotic arm serving popcorn, an interactive demonstration that captured attention while illustrating the potential of robotics in everyday applications. Additionally, we shared insights into how our technologies, including monitoring systems and collaborative robotics, contribute to environmental sustainability and agricultural innovation.
Our participation reinforced the university’s commitment to education, research, and community engagement, emphasizing UBI’s role at the forefront of sustainable technology development. The Feira de São Tiago was an incredible opportunity to connect with the public, spark curiosity about science and technology, and showcase the real-world impact of our research.
