Objectives: Development of a portable fruit thinning device that enables faster and more cost-effective fruit thinning compared to manual methods, while being better adapted to the local conditions of regions with similar topography and cultivation dimensions as the Beira Interior. This includes a focus on versatility to accommodate the heterogeneity of plants resulting from variations in plots and soil characteristics.
