The municipality of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo held a workshop on how the information from these meteorological stations and humidity sensors can help in the management of agricultural cultivation practices in our territory.

As a multidisciplinary project, BioD’Agro brings together a diverse research, innovation and knowledge transfer team that will enable farmers in the region to remotely monitor their crops and make decisions that promote local biodiversity and environmental sustainability without jeopardising agricultural productivity.

The installation led to the need to hold a session on the potential of meteorological stations and humidity sensors for managing agricultural cultivation practices in the region.

In this workshop, LITecS presented its meteorological station, its components and operation, as well as its online application, where users can access the data acquired through the stations.
