Technology as an aid to monitoring biodiversity in an agricultural context was debated at a round table that brought together farmers, agronomists, nature conservationists, biologists, technology developers and educators at the Castelo Rodrigo Parish Council hall.

Before the debate, participants had the opportunity to observe biodiversity in the experimental plots of the BioD’Agro project and a visit to the monitoring islands at Quinta da Extrema, owned by the Colinas do Douro company.

This event was organised by the BioD’Agro consortium, and LITecS researchers had the opportunity to present the field weather station developed in the laboratory, as well as compare the components of each of the stations present in the field.
