Professor Pedro Dinis Gaspar, Chief of the LITecS Laboratory, was an invited speaker, presenting groundbreaking research from the ROBOTA-SUDOE project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his presentation, &#8220;Advancing Robotic Manipulation: Integrative Design of Fin Ray Effect Soft Robotic Grippers,&#8221; Professor Gaspar highlighted innovations in soft robotics, focusing on Fin Ray Effect grippers designed to enhance adaptability and efficiency in both agricultural and industrial applications. The talk explored an integrative approach to design and manufacturing, combining advanced computational modeling with practical validation to improve robotic manipulation capabilities.
