LITecS was present at the Fundão Agricultural Innovation Fair (FIAF) 2025, a benchmark event for the sector held from July 3 to 6 in Fundão. The fair once again established itself as a crucial meeting point for discussing the future of agriculture in the region and the country.
Throughout the event, we were at our booth presenting the latest innovations in sustainable agriculture and agri-tech. We shared the results of our Montanha Viva and ROBOTA-SUDOE projects and had the opportunity to engage with farmers, companies, and other innovators in the sector.
A highlight of our participation was the contribution of our coordinator, Professor Pedro Dinis Gaspar, who was invited to join the panel discussion on “The Role of Robotics, AI, and Big Data in Agriculture.” His contribution focused on how technology is shaping the future of the agricultural sector.
FIAF 2025 was, once again, an excellent space for sharing knowledge, building new collaborations, and discussing the future of agriculture. We reinforce our commitment to continue developing innovative solutions that respond to the challenges of the sector.
